Did You Know?

The Tasmanian Blue Gum can grow up to two hundred feet high and the leaves can grow up to two feet long.

Tasmania

Plant 

  • Turnips, broad beans, onions, asparagus and spinach
  • Seedlings of linaria, verbena, lupin,
         penstemon, and Iceland poppy
  • Brambleberry, raspberry, blackcurrant and redcurrant

Care

  • Fertilise bulbs with Yates Bulb Food
  • Control moss in lawns with sulphate of iron
  • Spray stone fruit with bordeaux mixture before bud burst

Prune

  • Prune fuchsias hard to encourage more blooms
  • Late summer and autumn flowering
         buddleia and hypericum
  • Old scale infested maidenhair down to soil level
